Brooklyn’s Famous Delaney Barbecue Available in Philadelphia One Day Only

Hey, barbecue lovers! This event has your name written all over it. But, it’s only in town for one day, so you better reserve your seat now, before it’s sold out. Adding to The Ritz-Carlton’s new tasting series, coming all the way from Brooklyn, is Daniel Delaney. He’s the owner and BBQ aficionado behind Delaney Barbecue-BrisketTown. He’ll be in Philadelphia on Thursday, August 7, for what is sure to be an epic five-course dinner pairing. Dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are going for $75 per person.

This five-course dinner will consist of two courses prepared by the 10 Arts team. On the menu will be Delaney’s brisket and Southern sides served family style. Yes, that means you’ll be getting down and dirty BBQ style, on butcher paper and trays. No plates here. The meal will conclude with a bourbon-flavored ice cream dessert as created by Pastry Chef Stephen Wilson. As far as the pairings go, Delaney is recommending wine with BBQ and is currently collaborating with The Ritz-Carlton team to perfect the varietals presented that evening.

Matt Duckor of Bon Appetit claims, “Delaney’s brisket is as good as everyone says it is. There’s the clearly defined smoke ring, flavorful bark and saltiness that defines great Texas barbecue.” With reviews like this, how could a barbecue lover like you pass this up?
